The World Resources Report: Creating a Sustainable Food Future shows a five-course menu of solutions to meeting food demads of nearly 10 billion people while still being able to leave minimal carbon footprints.
The report identifies several "gaps" using a GlobAgri-WRR model developed in a partnership between several organizations. One such example was the food gap which can be closed through measures that decrease the rate of unnecessary demad growth and measures that increase supply.
It also offers a menu of solutions to meet the challenges presented by the gaps.
