Meet These Masterchefs at the World Gourmet Summit

World Gourmet Summit (WGS), Asia’s premier haute cuisine festival to celebrate fine cuisine, excellent wines and wonderful dining experiences presents a unique opportunity to relish gourmet dishes sporting a multitude of culinary influences. At the 23rd outing of this month-long food festival, expect another line-up of international masterchefs, along with our brightest culinary talents, serving up dinners, brunches, masterclasses and more in an event not to be missed.

Several overseas visiting chefs would also be participating in WGS and will be presenting their culinary talents during a one-night-only event! These chefs will be bringing their passion to the table, and serving a side of flair along with it. Here are the visiting chefs you will not want to miss:

1. Chef Martin Rebaudino



Hailing from Argentina, Chef Martin Rebaudino began his career nearly 30 years ago at his family's restaurant where he learned the tricks of the trade. Today, he is the Executive Chef of Roux which has been ranked no.27 in the list of "Best 50 Restaurants in Latin America" by the San Pellegrino Guide and no.4 in the Argentina Republic in 2013. He has won awards such as Best Chef by Cuisine et Vins de France in 2006 and 2008, and his restaurant has represented Argentina on the world stage. His enthusiam and sensitivity towards flavour is renowned and for one night only, he will be preparing a "4 Hands Argentinian Feast" along with His Excellency Federico Alejandro Barttfeld, Ambassodor of Argentina to showcase Argentinian's best cuisine.

2. Chef Chris Wade



Rated One Chef's Hat from the Australian Good Food Guide, Chef Chris Wade is known as the Steak Maestro. Having travelled to more than 21 countries in the span of almost 20 years to share his culinary skills,  Chef Wade is commited in serving the best quality produce Australia has to offer and has gained a huge following and fan base for his steak. For one night only, Chef Wade will showcase his vast experience and love of travel through a smart menu you will definitely love!
